Between Bars

Between Bars

See the locked gate with the wide bars behind the columns? Suppose a 19-month old slid between the bars, which aren't quite wide enough for an adult to slide through. Lucky for us, my daughter was quick  -  and snatched her toddler before she ran out of arms reach. Shew! Talk about almost excitement. Later we laughed about how we'd explain to a 911 operator that a toddler was locked in President Harding's memorial.

  • Looks like Harding Memorial needs to make the site toddler proof.

  • Who'd have thought? ;)

  • It appears the Harding memorial was not built for the defense of an onslaught of toddlers. I can only imagine what would have happened if they would have made it to the other side--with the tables turned on their parents--what would they do?

  • Guess they would be behind bars? ;)
