Got Peace?



From time to time, we all need a break from over stimulus. We sleep every night to give our bodies needed renewal and rest. Yet we often fail to renew our spirits and mind. One of the best ways I find peace - aside from my faith - is spending some quiet time where there is no electronic stimulus, phone, traffic or distraction. If it's not possible to get to a park, I close my eyes and think on a peaceful place that makes me feel calm and safe. I take a deep breath and then exhale, several times.(Sorry if this sounds corny - but it truly works. I learned this from a counselor.)
If you can't think of a peaceful spot you can borrow one of mine.;))
