I've been receiving a daily email from this site for several months and have found a few leads. Many of the gigs listed come from Craigslist, however. Use caution because scammers love to post on Craigslist. Also, if you haven't already, you might consider an additional email account specifically for inquiring about gigs which could be scams. This way scammers cannot clog your regular email with spam.
